Trip Responsibilities:
​
My responsibilities began before the actual trip organizing donation items and coordinating pre-trip meetings, but some of my responsibilities while in the Dominican Republic included:

Medical Translator - Translating for the other students in my group when needed.

Triage - Taking down patient medical history such as allergies to medications, current medications, recording symptoms and problems, measuring body weight, and taking blood pressure.

Pharmacy - Gathering medications and/or vitamins for each patient.

Home Visits - Promoting our healthcare clinic and teaching gospel principles from Jesus Christ.

Medical Scribe - Recording the symptoms and medications needed for the patients as they met with the doctor.
